Strategical Statistical Consultant

Originally from Missouri, I was raised on a steady diet of the great outdoors, riding bikes and four-wheelers, Cardinals baseball and Blues hockey. After earning my undergrad degree in Applied Math from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri S&T), I moved to Raleigh to pursue my master’s in statistics at NC State University. I fell in love with the area and simply never left.

Professionally, I arrived at my role as a Strategic Statistical Consultant through a rewarding career path with a few twists and turns along the way. I spent many years as a statistical programmer at various contract research organizations (CROs), helping the pharmaceutical industry analyze the data they need to bring drugs and medical devices to market. Most recently, I collaborated heavily with researchers at the NIH, preparing data sets used for analyses in their clinical publications.

When I’m not playing with data, you can usually find me on the beach volleyball court, strumming one of my guitars, or aggressively competing at local pub trivia nights. I’m also deeply passionate about community causes. I love raising money for St. Baldrick’s Foundation for childhood cancer research through North Raleigh’s annual Growler Beach Volleyball Tournament (one of the largest St. Baldrick’s events in the country), and I’m a proud co-founder of Research Triangle Analysts, a professional development non-profit built alongside a few of my fellow data nerds
